The mission of Sight-Hearing Encouragement Program, Inc. (SHEP) is to enable each person who is DeafBlind to live and work in his or her community of choice. Sight Hearing Encouragment Program is the biggest non-profit in the state of Oklahoma that provides vocational training exclusively to youth and adults who want to serve as an accessibility bridge to the DeafBlind. We currently have an exciting career opportunity available to join our team as a full time Program Manager. The location of this position is Oklahoma City (Surrounding Area), OK. The Program Manager you will closely with program President and Vice President, program stakeholders and upper management to plan and develop scope, deliverables, required resources, work plan, budget, and timing for the Oklahoma SSP program. Responsibilities include: Managing budget for projects and be accountable for delivering against established business goals/objectives, analyze, evaluate, and overcome program risks, and produce program reports for management and stakeholders.
**This position is both remote and will require in-person attendance to meetings and events (both local and out of town). Ability to travel is a must.
Who We’re Looking For
Exceptional leadership, time management, facilitation, and organizational skills
Outstanding working knowledge of change management principles and performance evaluation processes
Experience in business administration or related field
Excellent problem-solving ability
Excellent knowledge of MS Office; working knowledge of program/project management software (MS Access, MS Project etc.) is a strong advantage
High school diploma is required.
